Designed personally by Virgil Abloh and first seen at Off-white’s fall-winter 2022 show in Paris, the Offwhite for Church’s capsule footwear collection is one of the late designer’s last collaborations. The British shoemaker’s full brogue Oxford, the Burwood, has been given Off-white’s cheeky aesthetic: black brushed calfskin replaces the usual brown suede upper, and they include a leather take on the plastic hang-tags seen on Off-white sneakers. The genderless Burwood is the first of the two drops from this team-up; we can’t wait to see what else Abloh dreamt up.
