Coloured stones have always been prized at Van Cleef & Arpels and this year they take centre stage in its latest Frivole collection. Standout pieces include this eight-flower ring comprising rubies and emeralds set on yellowand rose-gold petals. The maison’s gemologists have selected rubies ranging from orange-red to pinkred as well as intense green emeralds, while the gold petals are mirror-polished to enhance the shine.
