Graff’s jewellery collections and unique high jewels are designed and manufactured in the company’s London atelier, where its master craftsmen employ stone-led design techniques to emphasise the beauty of each individual stone. This highly personalised approach most recently extends to Graff’s latest exquisite and bold offering - the Tribal collection.

The girl who created the stars is an ancient folk tale which provided the first spark of inspiration for Graff's new striking and sensual Tribal collection. With the powerful new creations that comprise the collection, Graff brings the art of storytelling to poetic life. Launched on March 20 this year, the date aligned with the Spring Equinox, which is said to usher in new life and light. The Tribal collection evokes the spirit and soul of the eternal beauty of nature.

Since time began, mankind has been driven by a tribal instinct to look to the stars and celestial bodies for guidance. This search for meaning in the heavens above has inspired many captivating stories that endure to this day.

The desire to make sense of the world around us through the ancient craft of storytelling resonates throughout the Tribal collection. Embarking on a journey from dawn to dusk, and sunrise to sunset, it tells a compelling story that is rooted in humanity.

Striking, sculptural motifs define the Graff Tribal collection – a contemporary reimagining of universally understood symbols that surround us in nature, and are recognised across all cultures and civilisations. Included in the collection are a significant number of high jewellery designs, many of which are unique pieces.

The artistic process of interpreting these ageless forms through drawings, sculptures and, ultimately, jewels, tells the Tribal story through a contemporary visual language, using materials about which Graff is passionate: exceptional diamonds and gems.

The Graff Gateway

The hero motif in the Tribal collection, the Graff Gateway is a contemporary vision of timelessness linking the past and the future, the Earth and the stars. Sublimely sculptural, abstract ovals defined by expressive curves resonate with symbolism.

New Dawn

An explosive sunburst symbolic of life, energy and power, the New Dawn motif is another signature of the Tribal collection. Harnessing the beauty of a sunrise breaking over the horizon, each jewel blazes with the powerful fire of the finest diamonds.

Night Moon

A perfect half-moon formed of clusters of round and pavé diamonds, Night Moon is symbolic of clarity and reflection. A modern reimagining of an iconic motif, it shines bright in Tribal jewels that enchant with their talismanic beauty.

Shot on location in the Atlantis Dunes in the Western Cape, South Africa, the Tribal campaign was shot by leading fashion photographer Mikael Jansson and features Portuguese supermodel Sara Sampaio.

Accompanied by large-scale, blackened steel sculptures specially created for the shoot, Jansson used the elemental shapes and symbols that are central to the collection to create a series of striking images of Sampaio adorned in key high jewellery pieces from the collection. The result is nothing short of breathtaking…
