MARUSSIA WAS RUSSIA’S FIRST AND ONLY MASS-PRODUCED SPORTS CAR. THIS BRAND WAS FOUNDED BY ACTOR AND RACING DRIVER NIKOLÁI FOMENKO AND IT WAS ONLY MARKETED FOR EIGHT YEARS (2007-2014). THE THREE-COLOR ENAMEL-ARROW LOGO STANDS FOR THE RUSSIAN FLAG.
Nicolái Fomenko counted on Efim Ostrovsky’s financial support, technology expert Andrei Cheglakov and designer Maxim Chashchi to create Marussia. The project was supported by the Government, in an effort to create a purely-Russian brand. The logotype features an arrow aiming down. It is well balanced and perfectly identifies the Russian sport cars.
