8,000 AIRCRAFTS FROM THE A-320 FAMILY
AIRBUS CELEBRATED AN IMPORTANT DEVELOPMENT IN FEBRUARY: THE DELIVERY OF THE 8,000TH AIRCRAFT FROM THE A-320 FAMILY, WHICH IS MADE UP OF MODELS A-318, 319, 320 AND 321.
Airplane number 8,000 (Manufacturer Serial Number / MSN8000), an A-320neo powered by the Pratt&Whitney PW1100G engine, was delivered on February 1st to Air China and given license plate B-1068. It is important to highlight that the new aircraft came out of Airbus’ assembly plant located in Tianjin, China. Airbus manages four assembly lines around the world, based in: Toulouse, Hamburg, Mobile in the United States and Tianjin in China. Airbus’ month delivery summary shows that the 8,000th aircraft was made on the very last day of January.
