8,000 AIRCRAFTS FROM THE A-320 FA­MILY

AIR­BUS CELEBRATED AN IMPORTANT DEVELOPMENT IN FEBRUARY: THE DELIVERY OF THE 8,000TH AIRCRAFT FROM THE A-320 FA­MILY, WHICH IS MADE UP OF MO­DELS A-318, 319, 320 AND 321.

Air­pla­ne num­ber 8,000 (Ma­nu­fac­tu­rer Se­rial Num­ber / MSN8000), an A-320neo po­we­red by the Pratt&Whit­ney PW1100G en­gi­ne, was de­li­ve­red on February 1st to Air Chi­na and gi­ven li­cen­se pla­te B-1068. It is important to high­light that the new aircraft ca­me out of Air­bus’ as­sembly plant lo­ca­ted in Tian­jin, Chi­na. Air­bus ma­na­ges four as­sembly li­nes around the world, ba­sed in: Tou­lou­se, Ham­burg, Mo­bi­le in the Uni­ted States and Tian­jin in Chi­na. Air­bus’ month delivery sum­mary shows that the 8,000th aircraft was made on the very last day of Ja­nuary.
