JAGUAR MARK VIII CLASSIC & EXCEPTIONAL
EL MARK VIII COMPARTÍA ELEMENTOS CON OTROS MODELOS DE LA MARCA, PERO TENÍA MUCHOS DETALLES PROPIOS. EL MOTOR SEIS EN LÍNEA, DE 3.4 L Y 190 CV, TENÍA UNA TAPA DE ALUMINIO DIFERENTE, QUE JAGUAR LLAMABA TIPO B. EL INTERIOR DEL AUTO ERA MÁS LUJOSO QUE SU ANTE
This 1956 Jaguar Mark VIII is part of that project. Nearly four years ago, he got it from Ángel Manuel “Pili”, a friend that is also interested in the restoration of these cars. The Jaguar was in a dreadful condition, but its potential was huge. Iván did some research on the vehicle. There were barely twenty of these in Cuba and only 6 227 units were made. That was the reason why finding parts was a nearly impossible task. Based on numerous images and specifications of that time, the vehicle was given back its character and nobility.
