2019 SEAT ARONA THE FIRST GAS DRIVEN SUV

PEOPLE THINKING THAT THE FUTURE OF THE AUTOMOBILE INDUSTRY IS ONLY RELATED TO HYBRID AND ELECTRIC CARS SHOULD TAKE A CLOSER LOOK AT THE LATEST SEAT ARONA, SINCE IT IS DRIVEN BY COMPRESSED NATURAL GAS (CNG) AND SAVES UP TO 50 PERCENT IN EACH JOURNEY. Launched during the recent Motor Show hosted by Paris, this is not the brand’s first bi-fuel model, since it already had SEAT León, Ibiza and Mii; but it does stand out as the first SUV of its kind in the market. This is not a trivial fact when taking into account the growing popularity of that segment. According to the Spanish company, driving a CNG not only helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions down to 25 % and NOx to 75 %, but its cost is substantially lower than other fuels, such as diesel, gasoline or liquified petrol gas (LPG).
