This one-and-only facility, run since July 2017 by Comercializadora de Servicios Médicos Cubanos (SMC is the Spanish acronym) in Cuba's number-one beach destination, delivers natural and traditional medicine programs from a long list of rehabilitating treatments, all of them aimed at stepping up physical performance and improving the psychic nutritional conditions of all customers, says Dr. Cecilia Valdes Santana, chief of the SMC local office in Matanzas.

These luring proposals come true by the hand of a team of seasoned professionals, handpicked for their outstanding performances to work in this institution and where customers are assessed on the basis of the kind of attention they are supposed to receive and their concrete needs.

“Here we rely on acupuncture techniques, individual or couple massages, reflex-therapy, audio-therapy, homeopathy, floral therapy, laser therapy and music therapy,” says Dr. Boris Luis González Camacho, a specialist in natural and traditional medicine who holds a Master Degree in Bio-energetic and Naturalist Medicine, plus other degrees in homeopathy and floral therapy.

The Life Quality House also applies paraffin and hairgrowing treatments, as well as mineral-medicine muds to treat arthropathies, cellulite and acne. At the same time, services related to cosmetology, podiatry and Heberprot-P consultations to treat diabetes-related foot ulcers, placenta histotherapy and ozone therapy are also available. What's more, the facility is outfitted with an indoor court for customers to work out traditional exercises, tai chi, yoga and other drills.

Another highlight is Dr. Ahymé Varela Rodriguez's office, an expert in clinical neurophysiology who caters to patients suffering from emotional conflicts and psychosomatic disorders.
