In the centersouth of Cuba, the city of Cienfuegos is enchanting, with its urban and architectural features harmoniously integrated into a natural environment that privileges Jagua Bay. A city that arrives to the commemorations of its bicentennial with a historical legacy rich in transcendental events, events and personalities, since the April 22, 1819 was signed the Act of Foundation of the settlement in the

peninsula of Majagua, by a group of white colonists of the European continent, predominantly French of catholic religion, headed by Luis De Clouet de Piettre, Lieutenant Colonel of the Royal Armies of Spain, born in New Orleans in a family originally from Bordeaux. Currently included in the select list of Cultural Heritage of Humanity, this neoclassical city, whose culture runs between

its French roots, the Spanish legacy and the American influence, shows the world as a multifaceted and attractive tourist destination. Cienfuegos is not a city detained in time as it can suggest the high degree of conservation of its buildings and the pristine of its streets, on the contrary, it is a city where culture is booming and where every day something good is reborn for the happiness of those who they know
