Two functions

A WEEKLY bingo session and quiz drew some 40 people to Karşıyaka’s Park Café on Tuesday last week.

The evening began with bingo followed by a 50-question general knowledge quiz led by Tony Pegg that saw the Welton Warriors team win a cash prize. A raffle was also held with the chance to win cash or a bottle of drink.

Organiser Brenda Pegg said: “We had quite a good turn-out and there was a lot of fun during the two functions that we hold every week.

“We started off with bingo played through one and two lines and a full house while after the break we had the quiz and a raffle, with the winners also receiving either money collected from ticket sales or a bottle of drink from the bar.”
