Ministry launches scheme to ‘bring UK TCs to TRNC’

DEPUTY Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Kudret Özersay says his ministry his launched a project to encourage Turkish Cypriots abroad to return to the TRNC.

The new policy will be based on data from other countries including Australia, Turkey and the UK, and he said they would work with the British government to integrate questions into the UK census to identify the number of Turkish Cypriots there, as well as other related data.
