KATIE B KICKS OFF
PERENNIAL local favourite Katie B kicked off the “spring season” of live music at Ozanköy’s Rafters restaurant last Saturday.
About 35 diners — including a group of guests celebrating Alan Jennings’s 71st birthday — were treated to more than two hours of musical entertainment by the singer, a regular act at the venue over the last 10 years who was described by owner Abbas as “one of the best”.
“We are very happy to have Katie with us for all this time as she is loved by all . . . because of her fantastic performances, and she was the perfect person for the first event of the season.
“It will continue with other top musicians such as Dominic Holmes and Billy J Redif, who are all popular, and events will increase after we move outdoors in the first week of May.”
