Buffer zone event on religion
RELIGION is the topic of a bicommunal seminar and discussion in the Ledra Palace buffer zone, organised by the Sciences and Humanities for Cooperation Across the Divides (SHCAD). Mete Hatay will first give a talk Heterodoxy as Resistance: Rethinking Islam in North Cyprus Today, followed by Marios Sarris on Structure and Cleavage in the Greek Orthodox Church of Cyprus. Hosted by the Home For Corporation, the SHCAD 11th Seminar: Religion takes place on Monday April 23, from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.
