Tim’s Café has its grand opening

KARAKUM has a new, traditional English café — Tim’s Café and Bar — which officially welcomed its first customers last Saturday. The four partners who own the business, Ayşen Sami, Çimen Vedat, Eray Talip and Tim Gale, hosted an opening ceremony which was attended by some 70 people from both the Turkish Cypriot and expat communities who tucked into an open buffet and drinks. “We have been quite busy since the opening, which went really well,” said co-owner Mr Gale who gained his knowledge of the catering industry in the UK.
