Spring music festival

INTERNATIONAL award-winning pianist Gülsin Onay will take the stage this week at the 14th Bellapais Spring Music Festival.

Holding the title of State Artist in Turkey and soloist for the Presidential Symphony Orchestra in Ankara, Ms Onay’s career has spanned 72 countries across all continents. She will perform Bach’s Italian Concerto, Beethoven’s Pathetique Sonata, Chopin’s Ballade No 3 and Nocturne Opus 48, and Franck’s Prelude, Choral and Fugue.

The concert, on Friday, starts at 8.30pm at Bellapais Abbey.
