Fake passport

A MAN was arrested in Lefkoşa while allegedly trying to cross to the South with a fake passport. Süleyman Altın presented a false Bulgarian passport with another person’s name to TRNC border police, Lefkoşa District Court heard. He had used the same passport while entering TRNC, and was said to have bought it in Turkey for 1,000 euros. Mehmet Altın was also arrested and both men were remanded to prison for 25 days.
