Attacker jailed

HÜSEYİN Acar was jailed for three months on Thursday for an attack on three female reporters outside Gazimağusa District Court earlier this month.

Delivering his verdict at the court on, judge Gökhan Asafoğulları said the assault on Kıbrıs reporter Sedef Boşnak, Kıbrıs Postası’s Nadire Bahadi and freelancer Gamze Pir Baykur as they went about their work was “certainly not acceptable”.
