Five-day festival at Esentepe

A FIVE-day festival starts at Esentepe on Wednesday at 8.30pm, with a folk dance show, stand-up comedy by Hakan Çankaya and concert by Berk Çomunoğlu. A Romany gypsy dance show kicks off Thursday’s activities, while Turkey’s Got Talent contestant Gürsel Yalçın starts Friday’s musical entertainment — both at 9pm.

Next Saturday will be “Black Sea Night” and the festival finishes next Sunday with a “robot show” and a concert by local singer Alp Umut.

Stands of handicrafts, local produce and refreshments will be open from 7pm throughout.
