Works of local, global artists go on display

ARTISTS from Near East University and the International Organisation of Turkic Culture, Türksoy, launched a joint exhibition yesterday which will remain on show 24/7 at Near East University Hospital exhibition hall until Wednesday, June 13.

Fifteen artists from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, the Russian Federation, Turkey and the TRNC met up this month in the capital for the annual Türksoy 10-day workshop to capture images of natural landscapes and cultural heritage for the show.

Local artists featured in the show include Mustafa Hastürk, Hikmet Uluçam and Hasan Zeybek.
