Donations for fire victims handed in

EMERGENCY supplies collected for victims of last week’s deadly Greek forest fires in a campaign launched by the Republican Turkish Party (CTP) were sent to the devastated region on Tuesday. Some 58 boxes of tinned and dry food, three boxes of cooking oil, 16 boxes of baby nappies and food, 48 boxes of medical supplies, 20 boxes of toiletries, 87 of clothes, bedding and towels, and one of batteries were collected between July 25 and 27 and handed to the Greek Cypriot Communist Party, Akel.
