Bulduk wins bocce champ

THE TRNC Men’s Singles Bocce Championship, in which players compete in a game related to British bowls and French pétanque, saw victory for Fatih Bulduk (right) last Friday.

Thirty-two entrants took part in the eight-day championship, with University of Kyrenia’s Mr Bulduk triumphing on the last day.

Mr Bulduk beat Sontaç Eşan 9-6 and then Mustafa Oymacı 9-7 to qualify for the final, where he defeated Near East University’s Yenal Senin 12-9 to become champion.
