Expats snap up
ORIGINAL pastel drawings and prints of ancient olive trees and life portraits were snapped up by expats who flocked to a recent exhibition of drawings by Christina Hessenberg at the Girne Municipality Transformer Gallery.
Civil aviation manager Ud Ekanem turned up to pose with the artist in front of his life portrait at the show as visitors enjoyed a glass of wine at the opening.
“Swallow” resident Anne Fletcher said: “I love the life portraits in particular because you can see so much in their faces.”
