Govt ‘on watch’ for corruption

THE government is “constantly on the watch” for alleged corruption among politicians and bureaucrats, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Kudret Özersay assured viewers of a BRT television progamme this week. “We take the issue very seriously and the AttorneyGeneral, who is the legal adviser to the state, ministers and Cabinet, is following up cases as they arise,” he said.
