AN ACTION-packed thriller with a plot hole. A criminal mastermind who robs a bank under cover of a hurricane fails to realise he might have problems.

Recently a member of another gang was diagnosed with memory loss so they put him in charge of the getaway. Big mistakes. No wonder the jails are full.

The prize in this heist is $600 million of government funds. Gang boss Perkins played with lip-curling relish by Ralph Ineson finds the streets are understandably deserted during Hurricane Timmy, a maximum force storm, but trees and hubcaps are flying about with lethal impact.

In the mix too are three intrepid outsiders. Federal agent Casey Corbyn, alias Maggie Grace, teams up with a metorologist played by Toby Kebbell and a hard-drinking ex-marine, alias Ryan Kwanten, to take down the gang.

The somewhat predictable proceedings are breathtakingly climaxed with a spectacular three-truck chase through the eye of the storm.

Directed by Rob Cohen in 2018 from a script by Carlos Davis and Anthony Fingleton.

Empire magazine said: “Stupid fun with a belter of a final sequence. Pure nonsense, but meet it halfway and there’s plenty of dumb fun to be had.”
