Astronaut Cooper, alias Matthew McConaughey, is the pilot and Professor Brand, played by Michael Caine, masterminds the expedition. The refugees take along their families and two essential crew members are robots Tars and Case.
Brit director Christopher Nolan co-wrote the script with his brother Jonathan in 2014. They provide much more than another space adventure. This profound essay encompasses the latest speculations of quantum astrophysicists about the nature of reality in the cosmos. It’s also a moving study in human relationships against the backdrop of a visually stunning universe. Interstellar won the Oscar for Visual Effects.
