In the Seventies, an expedition approaches newly discovered Skull Island in the remote Pacific. Tom Hiddleston is a former SAS tracker, Brie Larson is a photojournalist and Samuel L Jackson is a bonkers colonel with a helicopter squadron.
His flying machines are soon being swatted out of the air by a hundred-foot tall ape, who rules the island.
They are also attacked by giant-sized, man-eating spiders and other deadly horrors. Great fun on an epic scale. Directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts from a story by John Gatins.
