Babysitter held after toddler falls in pool
A YOUNG babysitter was arrested after a 16-months-old baby she was caring for was said to have nearly drowned in a family swimming pool.
Gülsenem Setradova was remanded at Girne District Court while investigations continue.
The baby girl, Nehir Ada Nizipoğlu, is said to be in a critical condition following the incident in Çatalköy.
She was rushed to Suat Günsel University Hospital in Girne and later transferred to Lefkoşa General Hospital and placed in intensive care.
