Bayram break

THE TRNC will celebrate Eid al-Fitr (Ramadan Bayram), along with the rest of the Muslim world, which brings an end to the holy month of fasting.

The three-day Bayram holiday starts on Thursday, May 13, with special prayers held at 6.25am. All public departments and banks in North Cyprus will be closed on Thursday and Friday and will reopen as usual on Monday, May 17. Individuals should check with privately owned places if they will be open during the Bayram period.
