Charity bingo event smashes its cancer fundraising target

THE Roadhouse Big Charity Bingo has smashed its target of raising 10,000TL for the Heartbeat-North Cyprus Cancer Charity Trust, raising 12,605TL in just four weeks of fundraising for the charity.

The target was hit last Thursday when a total of 94 people turned out to play bingo at the Roadhouse Bar in Alsancak.

The 12,605TL raised for Heartbeat is a part of the 62,000TL which has been raised for numerous charities and good causes since the Roadhouse Big Charity Bingo began its weekly events in April.

Since then, the initiative has gone from strength to strength, supporting a number of charities including those helping cancer patients, animals, and British war veterans.
