Let down again
I SEE that TRNC President Tatar has raged at being “let down by Brexit Britain”. Quite right too. Once out of the EU, the UK was free to take a more independent line on Cyprus, especially on direct flights and the long overdue honouring of promises made to the Turkish Cypriots when they voted for the UN Annan Peace Plan. It didn’t. No wonder he is furious. So am I.
