Man in intensive care after fall

A MAN was left fighting for his life after falling from the window of his apartment. The incident happened on Edipler Sokak in Lefkoşa at around 2am last Friday when Damith Botheju Welathantrilage, 29, fell 6.6 metres from his living room window. Police said the cause of the fall was “undetermined”. Following an operation, Mr Welathantrilage was placed under observation in the intensive care unit at Lefkoşa Dr Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital.
