ATA members receive certificate of appreciation
THE Anglo Turkish Association of North Cyprus (ATA) has presented members Jane and John Swain with a certificate of appreciation “for the help and assistance they have given to the association during this last year”.
The couple’s support has meant the ATA has been able to help a “number of local good causes through their generosity of gifts to the association”.
Mrs Swain said this has enabled the ATA to help “in particular the children of families suffering through the financial crisis which has engulfed the TRNC”.
Mr Swain, upon being presented with the certificate by ATA chairman Philip Lloyd, said: “If we can help, we will, which is also the ideology of the ATA, and one of the reasons why we belong to this great local organisation. Thank you, ATA, for this certificate of appreciation.”
Mr Lloyd said: “The ATA cannot thank Jane and John enough for their help and are pleased to be able to recognise their help with the presentation of this certificate.”
