ATA go alfresco
MEMBERS of the Anglo Turk
ish Association of Northern Cyprus (ATA) and their guests enjoyed “alfresco dining” in Karşıyaka for their latest social gathering.
ATA member Joyce Oxley organised the lunch event at Benjamin’s Garden Restaurant for a taste of its “typical Cypriot food”.
She thanked venue owner Mehmet Malenci and his wife for providing “such a wonderful meal”.
Lynette Lloyd, who signed up to become a member of the ATA at the event, was “full of praise for the warmth of the welcome she received from everyone”.
“I’ve had a great day today and made so many new friends, which is one of the reasons why I wanted to join the ATA – I can’t wait to attend another event of theirs,” she said.
