Rock concert project raises cash for Tulips
A ROCK concert poject has raised money for the Help Those with Cancer Association (Tulips).
“The Soulist Rock Night” took place in Alsancak and was organised by Alper Cengiz and Roland Eyerich as part of the Soulist “Friends Across Borders” (FAB) project which aims to “build musical bridges in divided Cyprus again”.
It featured performances by local band Mental Soup, and a group from South Cyprus, Private Garden.
During the intermission, donations totalling 18,011TL collected for Tulips from the 2019 FAB project were presented to Tulips chair Raziye Kocaismail by Mr Cengiz, Mr Eyerich and former cancer patient Ellen Hansen. Visitors to the concert also donated another 2,950TL and 60 euros on the night.
