Cobalt and Amadeus in book­ing plat­form co­op­er­a­tion

An agree­ment an­nounced be­tween Cobalt Air and Amadeus will en­able pas­sen­gers to book their flights with more flex­i­bil­ity and con­ve­nience, said the air­line.

The Cyprus car­rier will now of­fer book­ing ser­vices through Amadeus, a com­pany that pro­vides travel tech­nol­ogy on a global scale and al­low travel agen­cies to make book­ings on all Cobalt jour­neys.

Travel agen­cies will also be able to mod­ify book­ings and add sup­ple­men­tary ser­vices on ex­ist­ing book­ings through Amadeus dis­tri­bu­tion ser­vice, sav­ing ef­fort and time.

Cobalt said the deal will boost its devel­op­ment and ex­pan­sion strat­egy, com­mu­ni­cat­ing its brand to pas­sen­gers around the world through the largest com­mu­nity of trav­ellers glob­ally.

Travel agen­cies that co­op­er­ate with Amadeus will now be able to share Cobalt Air of­fers with their cus­tomers, and to is­sue all ticket cat­e­gories, serv­ing a wide range of trav­ellers.

Cobalt Air Di­rec­tor of Cor­po­rate Philokypros Rous­sounides said:

“We are de­lighted that in­cor­po­rates Amadeus dis­tri­bu­tion sys­tem in its ser­vices. We are par­tic­u­larly sat­is­fied, as we will now of­fer travel agents the chance to share our unique of­fers and high-level ser­vices to their clients, open­ing up to new mar­kets.”

Cobalt Air is now part of a group of 440 plus airlines, in­clud­ing 90 plus hy­brid and low-cost car­ri­ers, the fares and ser­vices of which are avail­able on Amadeus global dis­tri­bu­tion sys­tem.

Among Amadeus’ clients are jour­ney providers (airlines, ho­tels and rail com­pa­nies), travel providers (travel agen­cies and web­sites) and travel buy­ers (com­pa­nies and in­di­vid­u­als).
