Trade Convention for the Present and the Future
The 2nd Domestic Trade Convention is a window of opportunity to share and discuss experiences and knowledge among players involved in the activity of trade in the country, which includes different forms of management.
This space will allow for assessing and agreeing on the generalization of results and projects that will lead to the necessary development of wholesale and retail commerce, as well as logistics through the sharing of experiences and research studies conducted by outstanding members of universities, scientific institutions, research centers and participating entities. The topics to be analyzed have to do with the Trade Policy contained in the Guidelines for the Economic and Social Policy of the Party and the Revolution for the 2016-2021 period.
Different institutions will outline in their reports experiences and best practices focused on the integrated service to consum
ers offered in already restored or newly created Trade Points and Gastronomy Facilities, which are now more operational and boast very attractive designs.
The importance of integrating trade supply, taking into account the recreational needs and the attention to different age groups —particularly young people— as well as its relation with the country´s population dynamics are some of the subjects to be discussed in the event.
A significant moment will take place in the debate when addressing the type of trade and gastronomy enterprise the nation needs, just as it will be the efficiency and the correspondent legal system for service facilities in combination with non-state business managing associated activities.
The Convention is a time-out to rethink, stand by, and identify strategies to achieve the modern, efficient, and sustainable trade our people demand and deserve.
