¿WHAT IS THE Q-DISTICTION?

It is a recognition granted by the City of Quito, through the Metropolitan Public Tourism Management Office ‘Quito Turismo’ to the tourism establishments that have implemented sustainable tourism practices and as a distinction of quality. The Q-Distinction is granted to those establishments that offer first class services with teams that embody excellence and thus raise the quality of turism destinations of Quito. Today, through the common effort of entrepreneurs and Quito Tourism, several tourist establishments have the distinctive “Q”, a visitor who enters a place that has this distinction, can be assured that will receive a service characterized by quality and knowing that the place visited implements responsible practices with the environment and the community.
