Uno de los hallazgos arqueológicos más controvertidos de América es el ‘Homo Otavalensis’, un cráneo hallado en el cañón del río Ambi en 1957, datado en Inglaterra con más de 28.000 años de antigüedad (sería de lejos el hallazgo más antiguo del continente)! Nuevas dataciones, sin embargo, indican todo lo contrario, que el vestigio es más bien reciente (1000 aC)… / One of the most controversial archaeological findings in the Americas is the ‘Homo Otavalensis’, a skull found along the Ambi river canyon in 1957, sent to England where it was carbon-dated back to over 28,000 years old (which would make it the oldest human remain in the Americas)! New analysis, however, indicates a much more recent past (only 1,000 BC).
