Sad day for Defender owner…

Land Rover AFRICA Magazine - - MIFFBUSTERS -

So a few nights ago, it finally hit me like a steam train: I need to sell my Defender ( cue sad face!). This my second Defender and it’s going to be really hard parting with her. She’s my favourite thing. An absolute pleasure… I love her. I never EVER want to let her go. She’s a 2008 model, and I bought her with only 30 000 km on the clock. Now, she’s got 80 000 km on the clock and many more memories to boot. She’s my dream. Remapped, upgraded intercooler and all the bells and whistles later, I simply couldn’t get enough of her. It hit me again as I was driving to the family with the fantastic Clarion upgraded sound system blaring in my ears: Why let go? Unfortunately, my bank account suggests otherwise. Maybe I should wait a few years, buy one of the last Defenders and settle down forever. For now, SWAMBO’s Disco will have to nurture my broken heart. I will be sleeping in the Puma until she’s sold – simply the best vehicle ever!
