Land Rover AFRICA Magazine - - CLUB PROFILE -

The LROC of Australia currently has 265 members. The number has been static for the last 10 years. In the past, it grew to more than 800 members, but that number has dropped over the years. “We have members from other states in our club. Although Sydney is our base, most of our members are within a few hours’ drive with some scattered throughout New South Wales. Barnes said that there is no discrimination within the club. “We will take any make or model of 4x4. Members, regardless of their vehicle, have to accept that as a Land Rover club, the focus is going to be on Land Rovers. In the past, we’ve had disgruntled members because their vehicles were excluded from a Landy- focused event. Most of the trips we do include all makes of vehicles,” Barnes added.
