QNB ALahli re­ceives PCI DSS Cer­ti­fi­ca­tion

QNBALahli re­ceived the PCI DSS Cer­ti­fi­ca­tion from Con­trol Case, which is one of the largest in­ter­na­tional in­sti­tu­tions to im­ple­ment the in­ter­na­tional stan­dards that guar­an­tee the pro­tec­tion and se­cu­rity of pay­ments through elec­tronic pay­ment cards.This gives the bank a cer­tifi­cate of com­pli­ance with the re­quire­ments ofVisa In­ter­na­tional and MasterCard In­ter­na­tional to se­cure debit and elec­tronic credit card data in PCI DSS 3.2.1, and elec­tronic pay­ment ap­pli­ca­tions,in­clud­ing elec­tronic wal­let, mo­bile bank­ing,and in­ter­net bank­ing,as well as QR Code pay­ment.

Note­wor­thy, this cer­tifi­cate is a stan­dard in­ter­na­tional se­cu­rity which in­cludes the re­quire­ments for manag­ing in­for­ma­tion se­cu­rity, in or­der to ef­fec­tively pro­tect cus­tomers’ data and pay­ment cards to en­sure the safety of their money and data and to achieve ab­so­lute con­fi­dence in the cards is­sued by the bank.The stan­dards were put by the PCI DSS coun­cil, be­ing the glob­ally re­spon­si­ble en­tity for con­tin­u­ous de­vel­op­ment of se­cur­ing debit and credit cards pay­ments.
