THE private sector has urged the incoming Cabinet ministers to prioritize the pressing issues that pertain to economic planning and development, ICT, infrastructure development, health, education, and environmental sustainability.

Business Eswatini (BE) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) E. Nathi Dlamini said these sectors have challenges that require thoughtful consideration and decisive action.

Dlamini said they believe that by working collaboratively and harnessing the strengths of each ministry, the government will pave the way for a brighter future for the nation, especially by considering the submissions made at Sibaya, the People’s Parliament.

He stated that the formation of a new Cabinet was a significant event, reflecting the commitment of the government to steer the nation towards an economically sustainable nation.

Diversity

“The diversity of backgrounds and expertise among the new cabinet ministers is a promising sign for the Kingdom,” he said.

The CEO said that a government that represents a broad spectrum of experiences and knowledge is better equipped to formulate comprehensive policies that cater to the needs and aspirations of the business community and the nation at large.

He also stated that as the Kingdom of Eswatini embarks on a new chapter with its newly appointed Cabinet ministers, they extend their congratulations and best wishes for success.

“May this team of dedicated leaders guide the nation with wisdom, compassion, and a shared vision for a prosperous and harmonious future. Together, may they lead the Kingdom of Eswatini towards greater heights,” he said.
