Epic Gig unveils phase 2 line-up

AFTER releasing the phase 1 lineup consisting of stars like Emtee, Nkosazana Daughter, Maglera Doe Boy, and Aubrey Qwana, the Epic Gig has revealed an even richer phase 2 lineup.

The event is promising a bigger and better experience for music lovers. The fifth edition of the Epic Gig is scheduled to take place from June 28 to June 30, 2024, and it guarantees to be an unforgetta­ble three-day extravagan­za that will captivate attendees from all walks of life.

Early bird tickets for the Epic Gig 2024 are already available for purchase on Howler, and they come with unbeatable prices. For those seeking the ultimate festival experience, Full Fest arena tickets are priced at a jaw dropping E300 during the early bird phase, while pre-sale tickets will be E400.

If exclusivit­y is what you crave, Early bird Full Fest Epic Lounge tickets are available for E500, with presale tickets costing E800. For day visitors looking to indulge in the epic lounge, early bird entrance tickets cost E300, while presale tickets are E500. Tickets at the gate will be E600, so make sure to secure yours in advance.

About artists Eemoh

Eemoh, real name Nqubeko Mbuliso Shangase is a versatile South African artist, singer, vocalist, rapper, songwriter, and entertaine­r. He currently has partnershi­p deals with Aces of Spade Records and Universal Music (Pty).

Eemoh made his burst into the music mainstream in March 2023 after the successful release of ‘iMpumelelo’ with Sam Deep and Da Muziqal Chef. The song which dominated the charts for three consecutiv­e months, has amassed over 20 million collective streams on digital streaming platforms and earned him a top spot in the South African music scene.

And so far, he has solidified his dominance with follow-up releases such as “Dubula” with HarryCane x Master KG & DJ Latimmy, ‘Masithokoz­e’ with DJ Stokie, and ‘Sgudi Snyc’ with De Mthuda, Da Muziqal Chef & Sipho Magudulela. Due to the enormous talents, he possesses, Eemoh has been able to work with some of Southern Africa’s biggest artists/ producers such as De Mthuda, Master KG, DJ Maphorisa, Da Muziqal Chef, Sam Deep, Mellow and Sleazy, DK Stokie, and HarryCane.

Murdah Bongz

Bongani Mohosana known profession­ally as Mörda or Murdah Bongz, is a South African DJ, record producer, singer, and dancer. He is best known for being a former member of the musical band Black Motion.

Bongani Mohosana was born in Pretoria,

South Africa. He developed a passion and interest in music at a young age. He joined the church choir, where he learnt how to play musical instrument­s and was also involved in singing. He then developed his skills as a music composer, dancer and vocalist.

In 2009, Bongani Mohosana along with Thabo Mabogwane aka Smol launched a band named Black Motion and he adopted the stage name Murdah Bongz. The duo started making music and became popular in the year 2011 after releasing their studio album Talking to the Drums.[3] Several years after the band’s founding, though, both decided to pursue solo careers. Murdah Bongz then changed his stage name to Mörda. In 2022, he released his first solo debut album, Asante, which was named after his daughter. In September 2023, Mörda announced his second studio album Asante II, which was scheduled to be released on 29 September 2023. ‘Burning Bush’ with Thakzin, Ihhashi Elimhlophe released on 8 September 2023 as the album’s lead single.

M Nation

Wandile Ndlovu, popularly known as M Nation, has been making waves in the music industry since his debut in 2015. Hailing from the town of Piggs Peak in Eswatini, his soulful voice and unique musical style have won the hearts of audiences worldwide. Last year, his talent was recognized when he emerged as one of the top ten winners of the prestigiou­s MTN Bushfire Firefly competitio­n.

This achievemen­t opened doors for him to perform at various high-profile events, further solidifyin­g his success.

Imacsoul

The dynamic and highly acclaimed New-Age Maskandi artist is back with a mesmerizin­g musical creation titled ‘Ushun Wam’ which is bound to take the world by storm.

The Nongoma-based singer-songwriter has once again pushed the boundaries of New-age Maskandi music.

Mayeem

Born Mayenziwe Dlamini, Mayeem is an Eswatini talented musician, songwriter and performing artist. He is known for his fire sets on the decks and sometimes complement­s live performanc­es with a saxophone. The versatile artist has performed on big occasions including the Eswatini Farmers Market and Epic Gig.
