King welcomes development of SicunusaNhlangano road

HIS Majesty King Mswati III has welcomed the progress of the SicunusaNhlangano road and has commanded the quality of the project.

During His Majesty’s 56th Birthday celebration on Friday, the King said the nation was pleased by the positive update report received that the SicunusaNhlangano Highway is almost complete.

“What is remaining, are the road markings, signage and fencing. I was encouraged to hear that emaswati are already using the road and we have been informed that the feedback from the public is that the road is at par with other highways in the region,” the King said.

His Majesty added that the construction of the highway has benefited other government facilities like the clinic at Magubeleni whose road has been tarred from the highway to the clinic.

“This will make the movement of both members of the public and staff easy. It is also pleasing that the government has deemed it fit to construct a mini-bus station opposite the factory shells in Nhlangano. this has provided a facelift and a better facility for workers and public transport operators,” His Majesty said.

The King further added that the government attended to the resurfacing and making of drainages along the road from Luyengo to Mhlabubovu Circle.

“This facelift will improve the movement of public transport and the general public at large. Today we are pleased to present and officially bless all these different projects. this is my present to the nation; please take care of these facilities,” His Majesty said.
