Mbalenhle High School attains 100% pass rate
One of the local schools offering Matric, Mbalenhle High School recorded a 100 per cent pass rate.
The school is one of the 12 schools which form part of the Eswatini Centre, U-Tech School. Speaking briefly after the results, Principal of the School Khumbuzile Mabuza attributed the good performance to the teachers who worked tirelessly to ensure that the school gets the best results.
Mabuza said the 2018 results indicated an impressive improvement from the 2017 results. She thanked parents for supporting their children as they provided all learning equipment for them.

Meanwhile, U-Tech High School also accumulated an impressive 92.4 per cent overall pass rate, with some pupils attaining distinctions in six subjects. The school registered a total of 132 pupils for the 2018 Matric Examinations. At least 16 of these pupils did extremely well, attaining distinctions and credits. The results were said to have however shown a slight decline from the 2017 95.8 per cent pass rate. In fact, the 2017 results are said to have been the highest pass rate ever achieved by the school.
