Mbalenhle High School at­tains 100% pass rate

One of the lo­cal schools of­fer­ing Ma­tric, Mbalenhle High School recorded a 100 per cent pass rate.

The school is one of the 12 schools which form part of the Eswa­tini Cen­tre, U-Tech School. Speak­ing briefly af­ter the re­sults, Prin­ci­pal of the School Khum­buzile Mabuza at­trib­uted the good per­for­mance to the teach­ers who worked tire­lessly to en­sure that the school gets the best re­sults.

Mabuza said the 2018 re­sults in­di­cated an im­pres­sive im­prove­ment from the 2017 re­sults. She thanked par­ents for sup­port­ing their chil­dren as they pro­vided all learn­ing equip­ment for them.

We con­grat­u­late the class of 2018 for the good re­sults, and wish them well as they pur­sue their stud­ies in ter­tiary,” she said. Mean­while, U-Tech High School also ac­cu­mu­lated an im­pres­sive 92.4 per cent over­all pass rate, with some pupils at­tain­ing dis­tinc­tions in six sub­jects. The school reg­is­tered a to­tal of 132 pupils for the 2018 Ma­tric Ex­am­i­na­tions. At least 16 of these pupils did ex­tremely well, at­tain­ing dis­tinc­tions and cred­its. The re­sults were said to have how­ever shown a slight de­cline from the 2017 95.8 per cent pass rate. In fact, the 2017 re­sults are said to have been the high­est pass rate ever achieved by the school.
