“I had a good team of friends who always put pressure for everyone to achieve the best results”.

This was the first reaction by Tebenguni Miliswa Nxumalo of U-Tech High School after getting her results yesterday.

Tebenguni attained five distinctions and two credits, making her one of the best performers in the country.

Speaking during an interview, Tebenguni said she was happy with the results as they reflected the effort she had put throughout the year.

Tebenguni said she had a group of friends who would set targets for each class test. This would put pressure amongst them, with each one of them aiming to outshine the other. She further disclosed that they would at times sacrifice their lunch hour and concentrate on their books. “We knew that this was our last year in school, hence we had to make the most out of it,” she said.
