Khune re­minds Sun­downs fans of his achieve­ments

Kaizer Chiefs goal­keeper Itume­leng Khune re­cently took to his so­cial me­dia pages and posted an im­age of him­self and his in­di­vid­ual ac­co­lades from last sea­son.

The post how­ever, stemmed from a heated Twit­ter de­bate re­lat­ing to De­nis Onyango be­ing named in the CAF team of the year.

With Mamelodi Sun­downs goal­keeper De­nis Onyango be­ing named

in the 2018 CAF Team of the Year, it was later re­vealed who the Bafana Bafana play­ers voted in their start­ing XI, choos­ing Khune ahead of Onyango.

Well known Mamelodi Sun­downs Fan Vlog did not agree with the se­lec­tion and tagged Khune in a quoted tweet, of which he replied.

With fans hav­ing a go at Khune af­ter his re­sponse, he later men­tioned that Onyango should be cel­e­brated with­out be­ing com­pared to other goal­keep­ers.

Two hours later, Khune posted an im­age of him­self with his Man of the Match awards from the 2017/18 cam­paign and also, his goal­keeper of the Sea­son ac­co­lade.
