Zim star train­ing with ‘Bull’

– Cap­i­tal city gi­ants Mba­bane High­landers are on the verge of sign­ing top Zim­bab­wean striker Raphael Munukire in the cur­rent trans­fer win­dow.

The for­mer Dy­namos player is cur­rently train­ing with the ‘Black Bull’ along­side for­mer Tam­buti FC’s Con­golese striker Fabrice Mopina. The two play­ers started train­ing with the crowd pulling side ear­lier this week and are both look­ing to im­press Zim­bab­wean men­tor Saul Chaminuka. A source close to the mat­ter as­serted that the two play­ers will know their fate this


week­end af­ter a pend­ing meet­ing be­tween the tech­ni­cal bench and man­age­ment com­mit­tee. “The two play­ers are cur­rently try­ing their luck with the team and their fate will be known once the tech­ni­cal bench sub­mits their re­port to the MC. The team is likely to off­load some of the cur­rent play­ers in or­der to ac­com­mo­date the new play­ers,” the source said. High­landers PRO Paul ‘Magidza’ Masilela said he was yet to be briefed about the mat­ter yes­ter­day. Manukire has ap­peared in three COSAFA Cup tour­na­ments for Zim­babwe. High­landers have also wel­comed their left back Vuk­ile Khu­malo from a loan stint at Matsapha United.
