SWADNU calls unionists, residents to keep accused in jail

Sunday Observer - - NEWS -

Swaziland Democratic Nurses Union (SWADNU) President Bheki Mamba has called out nurses and Boyane residents to make sure that the alleged murderer cop does not get bail.

President Mamba said it was painful and unacceptable the way nurse Lindokuhle Nondumiso Dolly Mlangeni died. He asked Boyane residents to also show that they do not accept what had happened in the area.

Furthermore, he promised to rally behind the Mlangenis as the law might betray them and give the accused freedom.

Mamba went on to state that this was because police know how to evade facing the law.

“We will be with you in the struggle to make sure that the accused person Sibusiso 'Bhubesi' Shongwe is not granted bail.

We will fight this struggle because we know they know how to trick government in such cases.

We are calling out for the residents and everyone here who’s against the act to join us as we cram the court when the matter is to appear in court,” Mamba elaborated.

He said SWADNU was committing itself into making sure that justice would prevail.
