How­ever, it was the vis­i­tors who cre­ated the early chances, no­tably through striker Sandile Hlatjwako, whose header af­ter only five min­utes hit the up­right and rolled across the goal-line be­fore go­ing wide. It was an ex­tra-or­di­nary miss! Hlatjwako had two more chances to score in­side the open­ing 10 min­utes when he shot wide un­marked in­side the box in the seven min­utes in, and there­after failed to di­rect his header to­wards goal while in­side the six-area box when he headed over the cross bar un­marked.
